TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following are the Terms and Conditions for the passes marketed by goMowgli Travels Private Limited:

  • In this agreement, the terms
    • 'goMowgli' means goMowgli Travels Private Limited'
    • 'You' and 'Your' means anybody using the booking facility on the website www.goMowgli.in or anybody availing any service offered directly by goMowgli
    • 'Website' means www.gomowgli.in
    • 'Pass' means the ticket purchased by You to travel on a goMowgli tour
  • goMowgli operates the following 3 types of tours:
    1. Single day tours without hop-on hop-off
    2. Hop-on hop-off tours
    3. Bespoke private tours
  • Passes on goMowgli are non transferable and valid only for the person in whose name the Pass was originally issued. Your ID card will be checked. You need to carry your ID card in person, while travelling on goMowgli. If you are a foreign national (outside of India), you will have to carry your passport with you. Accepted ID proofs for Indians are Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhar Card & PAN Card.
  • Passes on goMowgli are valid for travel only once in one direction along the route of the Pass.
  • On the hop-on hop-off service, You can get off the transport vehicle at any overnight stop anywhere along the route of Your Pass, as many times as You like. You may get back onto another scheduled vehicle operating along the same route, subject to availability of seats, on the scheduled vehicle. You are required to book a seat on the bus for each leg of the hop-on hop-off, at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure.
  • Scheduling on buses along any route is the sole discretion of goMowgli. goMowgli is not obliged to send a bus as per the planned schedule, if there is no booking request atleast 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure.
  • Passes on goMowgli are valid for a period of 60 days from the first day of travel
  • Refunds and Cancellations:
    1. If You fail to meet a reserved departure, it will result in the cancellation of that travel day. You will have to make Your travel reservations on goMowgli for the remaining travel days by calling goMowgli’s customer care during the working hours
    2. You may cancel Your Pass 15 days before the date of first travel with goMowgli and You will be levied a fee of 10% of the cost of Your Pass.
    3. You may cancel Your Pass 48 hours before the date of first travel with goMowgli and You will be levied a fee of 50% of the cost of Your Pass.
    4. You will forfeit 100% of the cost of Your Pass for any cancellation of the Pass less than 48 hours before the date of first travel with goMowgli
  • goMowgli may change any fares, routes activities, transport modes, number of departure days, departure times, without notice at its discretion
  • goMowgli is a bus service for experiential travel and therefore may refuse to carry any person whose behavior is detrimental to the enjoyment of the group. By travelling with goMowgli, You agree to accept the authority of the driver/guide and accept their decisions. Any threats to safety, being physical or verbal, or inappropriate behaviour may result in the passenger’s removal from the trip. If a guide requires a passenger to leave the trip, no refunds will be given and that passenger will be responsible for their own travel costs from that point.
  • You are required to abide by the Indian laws at all times, while travelling on the bus. You will be liable for prosecution by the Indian courts for any unlawful, illegal or unethical activity carried out by you. goMowgli will not be responsible for any unlawful, illegal or unethical activity carried out by You.
  • Carrying narcotics and alcohol on the bus is strictly prohibited. Smoking in the bus is strictly prohibhited.
  • goMowli will attempt to adhere to published/stated departure, arrival and general travel times but sometimes given the complexity of the business, goMowgli will be unable to adhere to the mentioned times. goMowgli will not be liable for any failure to meet those times.
  • goMowgli will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or consequential upon, directly or indirectly, any abandonment of, or delay in, any departure howsoever caused.
  • While all care will be taken, goMowgli will not be held liable for any sickness or injury to any customer or any damage or loss of any property while they are utilising any of the services which goMowgli ot any of its operators or service/activity provider provides or markets.
  • goMowgli is not responsible for the safety of your luggage. goMowgli will do everything it can do to ensure a safe passage of your baggage, goMowgli is not liable for stolen baggage or any of its constituents.
  • goMowgli endevours to take very good care of the passengers. However, goMowgli will not be held liable for any sickness or injury to You or any damage to or loss of any property when You are utilizing any of the services which goMowgli offers or markets.
  • Where the services/ products of another operator are provided for in Your Pass, You are under no compulsion to take up the service/ product and do so under Your free will.
  • Where the services of another operator are provided for in Your Pass, it is agreed and understood that goMowgli is acting only as an agent for You to arrange such services and accepts no responsibility what so ever for any default/ negligence of the operator.
  • goMowgli will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or consequential upon, directly or indirectly, any abandonment of, or delay in, any activity offered by activity providers partnered by goMowgli.
  • The decision to participate in any activity provided by goMowgli is at your sole discretion and and your safety will be your responsibility.
  • The prices of the activities mentioned in the Website are indicative and are subject to change. goMowgli is not responsible for any change in price of any activity offered by the activity provider.
  • You agree to indemnify goMowgli, its officers, employees, agents or related companies as a result of any claim by any third party whose claim arises from your use of your Travel Pass or your acts or omissions while travelling on any goMowgli Pass
  • These terms and conditions apply to the extent that they are NOT inconsistent with or in contravention of any obligation imposed on goMowgli by the Indian Laws.
  • Disputes. If You wish to raise any issues with Your trip on goMowgli, please in the first instance advise Your guide of Your concern. If Your issue is not resolved, please email: contact@gomowgli.in as soon as reasonably possible, and within 28 days to enable goMowgli to address Your concern. goMowgli will not consider claims after 28 days.
  • There is no travel insurance cover included in the price of a goMowgli Pass.
  • Anything listed in Your Pass as free is not included in the ticket price as it is FREE and non-refundable or transferable, no matter what the circumstances.
  • For any purchase of the pass made on the Website, all disputes are as per the terms and conditions of the Website’s payment gateway service provider
  • goMowgli operates an adventurous product and is not suitable for children under the age of 5 years old. Children between the ages 5 – 12 years may travel free of cost if accompanied with an adult. Children aged between 12 - 18 years of age may travel if accompanied with an adult and the full fare will be levied on them. Travellers aged 16-18 can travel unaccompanied if they have a signed parent/guardian consent form (Please contact contact@gomowgli.in for a consent form).
  • If You are not an Indian national, it is mandatory for you to carry all the required paperwork for travel while travelling on goMowgli, as mandated by Indian laws for foreign internationals
  • If you travel on goMowli, you consent to goMowgli using images of You taken during Your trip of goMowgli for advertising and promotional purposes worldwide, royalty-free in any medium
  • All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Courts in Mysore only and the laws applicable shall be Indian laws
